NewsDarkstalkers Resurrection: Entwicklung für Wii U war nicht möglich

Capcom hatte die Prügelspielsammlung Darkstalkers Resurrection (PS3 PSN, Xbox 360 XBLA) vor einigen Tagen angekündigt, die Wii U als Plattform allerdings nicht berücksichtigt. Der Grund ist, dass das Spiel schon zu lange in Arbeit ist und Capcom damals noch keine Ahnung von den Online-Möglichkeiten der Wii U hatte.
"Das Spiel ist jetzt schon seit rund einem Jahr in Arbeit (und noch länger in der Planungsphase)", schreibt Christian Svensson, Corporate Officer und Senior Vice-President von Capcom, im offiziellen Forum. "Damals wussten wir noch nichts über die Online Strategie der Wii U, so dass es von Anfang an nicht für die Wii U geplant war."
Hoffnung für eine Wii U Version gibt es trotzdem: "Wir haben den Wunsch zur Kenntnis genommen und werden sehen...", schließt Svensson seinen Beitrag ab.
